- Supervise laundry staff to ensure efficient and timely processing of linens, uniforms, and guest items.
- Assign daily duties and monitor performance to ensure quality and productivity targets are met.
- Inspect laundered items for cleanliness and damage; ensure proper stain removal and finishing.
- Train, coach, and develop team members to maintain high standards and safety protocols.
- Maintain inventory of linen and laundry supplies; coordinate with procurement for reordering.
- Operate and maintain laundry equipment; report any malfunctions or maintenance needs.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times.
- Prepare schedules, manage timekeeping records, and assist with performance evaluations.
- Liaise with other departments (e.g., housekeeping, front office) to meet internal service needs.
- Implement and monitor energy and water-saving initiatives in the laundry process.
Qualifications
- Education: Degree, Diploma or Certificate in Housekeeping, Hospitality or Related Course
- Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience.
- Supervisory Experience: At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
