  • Ensure subgrant applications and awards comply with SIHA and donor guidelines.
  • Review, track, and document subgrant applications, awards, and disbursements.
  • Support country teams and grassroots partners to meet reporting and compliance requirements.
  • Work with finance teams to review budgets and ensure cost-effective planning.
  • Maintain and update the subgrant database, generating summaries and reports.
  • Contribute to monitoring, evaluation, and learning processes, sharing lessons and best practices.
  • Promote transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement in grant management.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Women’s Rights, Social Studies, Communication and Advocacy, Human Rights, Development Studies, Management Studies, or a related field.
  • At least four (4) years of relevant experience in grants management, program administration, or information processing in an NGO or development setting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and working knowledge of basic budgeting, contracting, and financial management.
  • Excellent written and spoken English; knowledge of Arabic, Somali, or Amharic is an added advantage.
  • Experience working in the Greater Horn of Africa countries as Somalia, Somaliland, Ethiopia, Sudan, South Sudan, Uganda, Djibouti
  • Good understanding of women’s rights challenges in Africa and the Horn of Africa, with a strong commitment to feminist principles.
  • Strong attention to detail, good organizational and follow-up skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask, work independently, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively within diverse teams and cultural contexts.
  • Proven capacity to handle confidential information with professionalism and integrity.
