Browns Plantations Kenya Limited is based in Kericho and Bomet counties, it has over 5000 Hectares of Tea and over 2000 Hectares of forestry. There are four tea factories, nine tea estates, a sawmill, and a forestry operation. We invite applications for 5 Graduate Management Trainees within our operations. The role is not substantive and is intended to run for 24 months. These positions are only open to female candidates.

Minimum Requirements

• Graduated within the last 1 to 3 years.
• Bachelor’s degree in any of the following fields: Food Technology, Agriculture sciences, Forestry, or Engineering.
• Computer literate.
• Good communication skills.
• Good organising and planning skills.
• Must be a team player with good interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• The Management Trainee programme is designed to provide fresh graduates with the opportunity to acquire leadership skills and professional and practical experience within our operations, encompassing areas such as tea growing, Tea Manufacturing, Forestry, and Engineering services.
• The trainees will be deployed to our various Estates, Factories, or Departments on rotation, where they will work under the supervision of the line managers. The program will run for 24 months (non-renewal), and thereafter the trainees will be released or offered permanent engagement or posting at Browns Plantations Kenya, depending on the availability of vacancies.
