Key requirements:
- Develop websites based on technical and functional specifications provided by the client;
- Continued maintenance, development, and bug fixes for the existing web sites;
- Utilise source control tools such as Gitlab for maintaining code versioning and releases;
- Test the website on different browsers and identify any technical problems;
- Work with the team to manage, optimise and customise multiple web applications;
- Attend daily meetings to report on assigned tasks’ progress and attend fortnightly meetings for project planning and other meetings from time to time;
- Complete tasks & deliver projects on-time and to the highest standards;
- Contribute ideas for making the application better and easier to use.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or any related technical field.
- At least 3 years of professional experience as a Frontend Web Developer.
- Strong proficiency in React.js and its core principles.
- Experience working with popular React.js workflows (such as Redux, Flux, or MobX).
- In-depth knowledge of web technologies including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with modern frontend build pipelines and tools (e.g., Webpack).
- Experience with RESTful APIs and asynchronous data handling.
- Proficient understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git) and code collaboration tools (e.g., GitHub).
- Solid understanding of cross-browser compatibility and responsive design.
- Ability to write clean, modular, and well-documented code.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Nice to have:
- Experience with Next.js .
- Experience with UI/UX design.
- Knowledge of server-side rendering and backend technologies (e.g., Node.js).
- Familiarity with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Playwright) and test-driven development (TDD) practices.
- Understanding of performance optimization techniques for web applications.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
