Role Overview:
The Field Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth by leading field sales teams, strengthening customer relationships, and ensuring consistent execution of sales strategies across assigned territories. The role focuses on achieving sales targets, expanding market share, and improving overall sales performance through effective team leadership and market execution.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver sales targets and drive volume growth across assigned territories
- Lead, coach, and manage the field sales team to achieve high performance and productivity
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, identify gaps, and implement corrective actions
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and key customers
- Ensure product availability and optimal stock levels across all channels
- Drive retail execution including visibility, pricing, and promotions
- Ensure operational compliance and effective route-to-market execution
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform strategy
- Identify and develop new business opportunities and channels
- Manage sales reporting, forecasting, and budget control
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field
- 3–7+ years’ experience in sales, preferably in FMCG or distribution environments
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel frequently
