The Opportunity
As our Expansion Manager, you will play a critical role in accelerating our e-invoicing offering across multiple markets within Africa and beyond . You will lead new market rollouts, working closely with regulatory authorities, strategic partners and internal teams to accelerate DigiTax’s regional growth.
This is a high-ownership role, reporting directly to the COO and working closely with the wider executive team. The ideal candidate combines strategic vision with commercial pragmatism and operational discipline.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute DigiTax’s market expansion strategy across Africa and the GCC.
- Lead regulatory engagement and obtain necessary approvals or certifications in new markets.
- Build partnerships with key ecosystem players—banks, ERP providers, tax authorities and system integrators.
- Conduct market research, size opportunities and define market entry priorities.
- Lead go-to-market planning and ensure alignment with product, compliance and marketing teams.
- Monitor post-launch performance and provide data-driven recommendations for optimization.
- Prepare business cases to guide investment decisions.
- Build and mentor regional expansion teams as growth accelerates.
- Work closely with legal, finance, and tech teams in setting up operations in expansion markets.
What we’re looking for
- 7+ years of experience in market expansion, strategy, or partnerships (preferably in fintech, SaaS, or regtech sectors).
- Proven experience launching products or services across multiple African or GCC markets.
- Strong understanding of B2B software solutions preferred.
- Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
- Bilingual in English and French or Arabic preferred.
- MBA or related advanced degree a plus.
