English Tutor Job DOAN College
Teaching Jobs. DOAN College Jobs. English Tutor delivering English language instruction and preparing students for IELTS, TOEFL and Cambridge examinations, requiring a bachelor’s degree in English, Linguistics or Education (English), a valid teaching certificate and at least 2 years teaching experience, in a college education environment, on-site role.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in English, English Literature, Linguistics, Education (English), or a related field from a recognized institution.
- A valid Teaching Certificate or registration with the relevant professional body (where applicable).
- Proven experience teaching IELTS, TOEFL, PTE, Cambridge English or other international English proficiency examinations.
- At least 2 years of teaching experience in a college, TVET, or secondary school environment.
- Demonstrated proficiency in English grammar, writing, speaking, listening, and reading instruction.
- Experience preparing students for national or international English examinations is an added advantage.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, reliability, and commitment to academic excellence.
- Ability to mentor, motivate, and support learners from diverse educational and cultural backgrounds.
- Flexibility to work as per the institution’s schedule.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and to meet frequently occurring deadlines
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent Research and Critical thinking skills.
- Time management skills and attention to detail.
