Duties and Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that meet the educational needs of students in Playgroup to PP2, in line with CBE.
- Regularly assess and monitor students’ progress, providing feedback to students and parents to support their learning and development.
- Establish and maintain a positive classroom environment that encourages students to participate and express themselves.
- Identify the individual needs of students and provide tailored support to help them achieve their full potential.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress, challenges, and achievements.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with educational practices.
- Work collaboratively with other teachers and staff to develop a cohesive educational program and participate in school events.
Key Requirement Skills And Qualification
- A certificate or diploma in Early Childhood Development Education (ECDE)
- Previous teaching experience in Playgroup to PP2 is essential.
- Must be registered with the Teachers Service Commission (TSC).
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with young children.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrable computer proficiency
- Familiarity with educational technology and digital learning tools.
- Ability to create a dynamic and engaging classroom environment.
- Patience, creativity, and a passion for teaching young learners.
