Areas of Specialisation: Information Communication Technology & Education

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Graduated not earlier than 2020 and be;
    • In possession of a Bachelor’s degree in Education with specialization in Information Communication Technology or a Bachelor’s degree in ICT from a recognized institution or its equivalent;

OR

  • A Diploma in ICT or ICT Integration in Education or its equivalent from a recognized institution;
  • Knowledge in networking and infrastructure, applications development, information security and project management;
  • Ability to integrate ICT with Education in terms of E-Learning and content development;
  • Requisite skills to carry out research and innovation to support the Digital Literacy Programme;
  • Should be willing to be deployed to a Sub-County Education Office on full time basis;

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support of E-Learning and content development in line with the schemes of work;
  • Providing classroom support and training of School teachers in use of digital literacy devices;
  • Supporting implementation of the Digital Literacy Programme;
  • Carrying out innovations to enable schools improve on use of digital learning;
  • Providing support in safe, secure and ethical use of technology in learning;
  • Assisting teachers by integrating ICT in delivery of teaching, learning, assessment;
  • Supporting School’s staff with development and production of key School policies and procedures; and
  • Providing first line support and maintenance of ICT services in the Schools

Duration of Internship: 12 Months

Commencement Date: 01st July, 2025

Stipend:
Kes.. 25,000 p.m (Degree Holders)
Kes. 15,000
p.m. (Diploma Holders)
