Customer Development Lead – Beverages-Machakos Job
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
- 7-10 years of total FMCG experience.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience within the Beverage category.
- Strong Modern Trade experience managing supermarkets and key accounts.
- Proven experience managing Joint Business Plans (JBPs).
- Hands-on experience with planogram implementation and shelf-space negotiations.
- Experience executing consumer promotions, product launches, and visibility initiatives.
- Experience managing merchandisers and third-party vendors.
- Strong distributor and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Ability to independently drive new listings and account development.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage supermarkets and minimarts under distributors and regional second lines.
- Deliver agreed Joint Business Plans (JBP) objectives and quarterly targets.
- Drive visibility, share of shelf, product availability and promotional execution.
- Negotiate additional display opportunities and new product listings.
- Manage merchandising teams and third-party service providers.
- Monitor market performance and competitor activities.
