Creative Content & Marketing Specialist Job

Content Creation & Design

  • Create branded graphics and layouts in Canva.
  • Design original assets beyond templates, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines.
  • Edit and prepare short-form videos using CapCut; source raw content from CapCut Spaces and produce polished Reels and LinkedIn videos.
  • Write and edit both short- and long-form content — including social captions, newsletters, articles, and thought leadership posts.
  • Use AI tools (especially Gemini) to support ideation, drafting, and optimization.

Social Media Management

  • Manage and maintain a content calendar across all social media platforms.
  • Schedule and publish posts using HubSpot.
  • Ensure brand consistency and messaging alignment across channels.
  • Provide feedback and recommendations based on performance insights, with actionable improvement suggestions.

Newsletter & Communication

  • Create and manage newsletters — drafting, designing, scheduling, and distributing.
  • Repurpose social content for newsletters to maintain consistent messaging.
  • Highlight donor stories, volunteer initiatives, and impact updates.

Tracking & Measurement

  • Build and maintain dashboards for content performance.
  • Track KPIs such as reach, engagement, and conversions.
  • Deliver performance reports and actionable insights to leadership.

Project & Workflow Management

  • Use Asana to manage tasks, deadlines, and workflows.
  • Follow creative direction from leadership while offering recommendations for improvement.
  • Ensure projects move efficiently from raw content → edited draft → scheduled post.
  • Design skills: Strong ability to create original layouts in Canva.
  • Video editing: Proficiency with CapCut (CapCut Spaces experience preferred).
  • Writing/editing: Skilled in creating both short- and long-form content.
  • AI fluency: Comfort using AI tools, particularly Gemini, in content creation workflows.
  • Project management: Experience using Asana and HubSpot.
  • Measurement & reporting: Ability to create dashboards, track KPIs, and present insights.
  • Brand awareness: Proven ability to maintain a consistent brand voice across platforms.
  • Collaboration: Strong communication and teamwork skills to work closely with leadership.
