Compliance Officer Job Inspire Credit

Key Responsibilities:
- Embed and implement the compliance monitoring plan of the company.
- Help ensure compliance with various internal policies and procedures
- Ensure compliance with various requirements and regulations e.g., anti-money laundering, data protection, the Central Bank of Kenya (Digital Credit Providers) Regulations, 2022.
- Liaison person with internal teams and regulator on risk and compliance standards
- Assist in preparing risk and compliance reports for management and the board
- Support in addressing any compliance issues or concerns
- Participate in regular audits and assessments to identify and address compliance risks
- Support in providing training and guidance to employees on compliance matters as needed
- Stay informed about regulatory changes and assist in communicating updates to internal staff, management and the board.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in commerce, business administration, finance, banking, risk management, or related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in a compliance or regulatory support role, preferably within the financial services industry
- Basic understanding of digital lenders requirements and regulations
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team and manage multiple tasks
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with a good level of accuracy
- Certification in CPA, CISA, Analytics or related field is a plus.
