Job Description
Do you thrive at the intersection of strategy and sales for Asset Financing and Trade Finance? Mwananchi Credit Limited, a leading non-bank lender in Kenya, is looking for an exceptional team leader to spearhead asset finance and trade finance initiatives across our national footprint.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of marketers with a focus on asset finance and trade finance product portfolios
- Drive client acquisition strategies for Asset Financing and Trade Finance
- Oversee deal origination, documentation, and compliance aligned to internal risk frameworks
- Identify market gaps and craft localized solutions for trade finance needs such as invoice discounting, LPO financing, and import/export support
- Track performance metrics across regions and report on pipeline, closures, and portfolio health
- Collaborate with internal teams for product development, innovation, and client retention
Minimum Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience in credit sales, asset finance and trade finance.
- Proven track record in team leadership, product performance, or client growth
Added Advantage
- Candidates who have 10 or more marketers/sales reps will be highly prioritized
- Strong understanding of SME ecosystems and business financing across different sectors
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and market development skills
