Job Description

Do you thrive at the intersection of strategy and sales for Asset Financing and Trade Finance? Mwananchi Credit Limited, a leading non-bank lender in Kenya, is looking for an exceptional team leader to spearhead asset finance and trade finance initiatives across our national footprint.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of marketers with a focus on asset finance and trade finance product portfolios
• Drive client acquisition strategies for Asset Financing and Trade Finance
• Oversee deal origination, documentation, and compliance aligned to internal risk frameworks
• Identify market gaps and craft localized solutions for trade finance needs such as invoice discounting, LPO financing, and import/export support
• Track performance metrics across regions and report on pipeline, closures, and portfolio health
• Collaborate with internal teams for product development, innovation, and client retention

Minimum Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field
• At least 2 years of experience in credit sales, asset finance and trade finance.
• Proven track record in team leadership, product performance, or client growth

Added Advantage

• Candidates who have 10 or more marketers/sales reps will be highly prioritized
• Strong understanding of SME ecosystems and business financing across different sectors
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and market development skills
