Elizabeth Mmasi Exploring New Career Horizons

As the new year unfolds, for many professionals it is a time of fresh beginnings and renewed goals and it brings with it the promise of new opportunities. At Corporate Staffing, we are excited to welcome Elizabeth Mmasi who will join our Training department as the new Business Development Executive; she will help the team develop and implement effective sales strategies, qualifying leads, building relationships, presenting effectively, and closing deals.

Elizabeth’s journey to CSS is both inspiring and relatable. She is a passionate communicator with a strong background in Public Health who decided to diversify her career and venture into customer service and business development. Curious about how she found us? Social media! While on the hunt for a job, she stumbled across our platform, and the rest, as they say, is history.

Elizabeth certainly has useful skill sets even after deviating from her career path, even though it seems to be different from her experience in public health. Her prior position sharpened her communication skills, which are extremely applicable in the customer service industry.

Additionally, her interpersonal and problem-solving skills—which are critical in any healthcare setting—will surely be useful when it comes to successfully handling client problems and fostering enduring partnerships. “I am scared both scared and excited to venture into this different territory” she explains

But what attracted her to work at CSS? I asked her and here was her response; “CSS is well known for providing help to many people grow their careers and I wanted to be part of a team that brings change and happiness to people’s lives.”

My good communication, adaptability, and problem-solving will help me understand clients personally and tailor solutions to their specific problems. This will help the team meet its targets and the company grow,” she added.

Elizabeth believes that what she needs to thrive in her new role is to collaborate with the team and maintain a positive relationship with colleagues which is a step closer to greatness. “I’m a strong believer in the power of teamwork,” she added.

What she plans to learn from her colleagues at CSS is to understand what each one of them does in their departments and how she will utilize her knowledge and skills to support them achieve their goals.

She has been here one week and I asked her what she enjoys most so far, here is what she had to say “I love the morning prayer sessions done before we commence work. Indeed, a family that prays together stays together”

As a professional who has been in the job search, I was curious to get her advice to those who are looking for a job, here is what she said “If you are looking for a job, don’t give up, stay persistent and motivated at all times. Take every opportunity to learn and develop new skills., refine your application materials and prepare well for the interviews. You will soon land your dream job”

We welcome you Elizabeth to Corporate Staffing; we are glad to have you on board and we can’t wait to see how your expertise and contributions will help our team and CSS achieve the overall goals.
