Duties and Responsibilities

Welding & Fabrication

• Perform Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW), TIG, and MIG welding on various metal components.
• Fabricate and assemble gym equipment parts according to design specifications.
• Ensure all welds meet structural and aesthetic quality standards.

Blueprint Interpretation

• Read, interpret, and apply technical drawings and blueprints
• Ensure fabrication aligns with the design dimensions and tolerances.

Quality Assurance

• Conduct inspection of welds to ensure strength, durability, and finish quality.
• Report any defects or issues promptly and recommend corrective measures.

Health, Safety & Environment

• Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
• Properly handle welding equipment and materials according to safety standards.

Computer & Documentation

• Maintain records of daily tasks, materials used, and progress reports.
• Use basic computer tools for reporting and communication.

Teamwork & Communication

• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and fellow welders to meet production deadlines.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute suggestions for process improvement.

Key Requirement Skills And Qualification

• Proven experience in Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW), MIG, and TIG welding
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Basic computer skills
• Health and Safety training certification
• High attention to detail and strong workmanship
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
