  • To ensure company’s growth in terms of sales, profits & customers base in Retail Channel by,
  • developing the Retail channel in Kenya in line with the company strategy and sales plan, and with the Kenya and Group guidelines
  • actively promoting the Puratos products
  • create a strong long term partnership to the assigned customers
  • Promotes Puratos Magic based on our values and working principles.
  • Ensures the working conditions for high employee engagement, enablement and wellbeing.
  • Embraces continuous learning and continuous improvement
  • Promote and sell different Puratos products taking into account the specific needs/requests from the customers.
  • Participate actively in the organization events/activities for the promotion of Puratos products (fairs, collective demonstrations, seminars inhouse and abroad).
  • Obtain an excellent knowledge of Puratos product range in Bakery, Patisserie and Chocolate and their characteristics and properties.
  • Identify and develop new customers beyond our core channels
  • Register Sales Orders and payment collection according to the rules of the company (rooting & credit policy & timing)
  • Deal with customer complaints, involve the relevant internal stakeholders, propose adequate solutions and inform the customer.
  • Leverage all the available tools to drive profitable sales ( e.g demostrations, customer visits, sales digital tools etc)
  • Manage existing customers’ base.
  • Plan and organize daily activities and customer visits based on objectives to be reached.
  • Certificate, diploma or degree in marketing, business or related field diploma, Bakery diploma desired
  • Worked as a baker with practical exposure to bakery production and bakery improver applications.
  • Experience in sales, in the bakery, pastry, chocolate, agri-food (or equivalent) sector preferred
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Mobility required: regular travel within the country
  • Able to evolve in an international organization
  • Very autonomous and rigorous in the follow-up of files
  • Humble, open and a great listener
  • Good communicator (written and oral)
  • Able to think critically and make decisions
  • Strong, self-starter, and team player
