Role Description
This full-time hybrid role for a Sales and Marketing Officer is based in Naivasha, with some flexibility to work from home. The Sales and Marketing Officer will be responsible for performing market research to identify new business opportunities, developing and implementing marketing strategies, and executing effective social media campaigns to promote the company’s services. The role also involves engaging with clients and prospects to build relationships, create sales leads, and successfully close sales opportunities. Additional responsibilities include maintaining updated knowledge of industry trends to ensure the firm’s competitiveness. Astorian Nomaya is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales & Marketing Officer to drive revenue growth across our events, nightlife, conferencing, and accommodation segments. The ideal candidate will be proactive, creative, target-oriented, and passionate about hospitality and entertainment.

Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales for events, corporate conferencing, nightlife experiences, and accommodation.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities (corporate clients, social events, private parties, group bookings).
- Build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to increase occupancy and event bookings.
- Promote the lounge & grill nightlife experience and themed events.
- Prepare quotations, invoices, and basic sales reports.
- Track sales performance and meet agreed monthly targets.
- Support marketing campaigns (digital promotions, partnerships, activations).
- Coordinate with operations to ensure smooth delivery of booked events and conferences.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis within Naivasha and surrounding areas.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Sales, Marketing, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Experience in hospitality sales is highly recommended.
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Good math skills and basic accounting knowledge (quotations, commissions, reporting).
- Self-driven, organized, and performance-oriented.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends when required.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: KES 23,000 per month
- Commission on sales
- Meals and accommodation provided by the company
- Location: Naivasha
