ROLE PURPOSE

We are a leading Pharmaceutical Distributor, sourcing and supplying pharmaceuticals across all channels in East Africa. We are seeking to hire a medical representative to join our dedicated team. This role reports to the Line Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Strengthen brand presence by building relationships with prospective and existing customers.
• Ensure territory and administrative systems/processes are maintained and updated.
• Ensure proper communication is done to the internal and external stakeholders.
• Act as key liaison between the company and healthcare professional including doctors, hospitals, and medical staff.
• Effectively implement the set sales and marketing strategies to drive growth.
• Coordinate with supply chain teams to ensure product availability is uninterrupted at the dispensing end of the supply chain.
• Ensure timely payment and collections on sales made.
• Analyze client needs, find gaps in the market and offer tailored solutions to meet client demands.
• Track and provide regular reports on individual performance including market intelligence.
• Attend regular training programmed for updating medical as well as pharmaceutical knowledge.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Pharmacy/Biochemistry or any related medical/science course.
• At least 2 years of experience as a medical representative.
• Exceptional communication, presentation and selling skills.
• Excellent customer relationship skills.
• Candidates with experience in handling anesthesia and psychiatry products are highly encouraged to apply.
