  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Valid teaching certification (e.g., state/provincial license, TSC, PGCE, or equivalent).
  • Master’s degree in the relevant subject area or a related field (preferred).

Professional Experience

  • Minimum of 4 years of Art teaching experience.
  • Cultural proficiency and understanding of intercultural learning with teaching experience in a multicultural setting.
  • Competent in using educational technology, including the Google Suite, and effectively integrating technology into instruction.
  • Fluent English speaker with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Solid understanding of pedagogy and instructional approaches aligned with ISK’s educational aims, including:
    • Understanding by Design model
    • Social Emotional Learning
    • Integration and interdisciplinary learning
    • Cultural proficiency and Communication skills
    • Student-centered and strengths-based approach
    • Integration and conceptual inquiry
