Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Professional Interior Designer based in Nairobi. The role involves responsibilities such as creating interior design concepts, developing detailed space plans, producing construction drawings, and selecting finishes, furniture, and equipment (FF&E). The designer will work closely with clients and project teams to bring creative vision to life, ensuring that aesthetic and functional requirements are met.
Qualifications
- Experience in Space Planning and Interior Design
- Proficiency in Architecture and Construction Drawings
- Knowledge of Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment (FF&E) selection and coordination
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Proficient with design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with clients and team members
- Attention to detail and creativity in developing design concepts
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
- Experience in the construction or real estate industry is a plus
