Overall Role Purpose
We are seeking dynamic and results-driven Field Sales Representatives to drive sales of hardware and construction materials. The role involves actively sourcing new business, building strong client relationships, and expanding our market presence within the construction and building industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the construction sector
- Promote and sell hardware and building materials to clients
- Build and maintain strong relati onships with contractors, developers, and site managers
- Conduct regular site visits and client meetings
- Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets
- Provide market intelligence and competitor insights
- Ensure excellent customer service and after-sales follow-up
Ensure to get businesses from:
- Building contractors (small, medium, and large-scale)
- Real estate developers and construction companies
- Fundis and skilled arti sans (masons, carpenters, plumbers, electricians)
- Hardware shops and resellers
- Site project managers and engineers
- Institutional projects (schools, hospitals, churches)
- Individual home builders and property owners
Requirements
- Proven experience in field sales (preferably in hardware or construction materials)
- Strong knowledge of building materials and constructi on industry trends
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset
- Ability to work independently and meet targets
