Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide technical support during electrical and electronics practical sessions and workshops.
• Prepare, issue, and maintain electrical and electronic tools, equipment and training materials.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, health and environmental regulations.
• Maintain inventory and accurate records of electrical and electronic equipment and consumables.
• Carry out routine maintenance, testing and troubleshooting of electrical and electronic equipment.
• Assist in the preparation of practical examinations, demonstrations and student projects.

Minimum Requirements

• Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or a closely related field from a recognized institution.
• Minimum KCSE Mean Grade: C- (minus).
• At least three (3) years of relevant hands-on experience.
• Computer literate.
• Knowledge of the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA).
• Demonstrated ability to maintain electrical and electronic equipment and observe safety standards.
