Requirements
- Certification in Cabinet Making, Carpentry & Joinery, or related field
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in cabinetry and experience in construction industry is an added advantage
- Experience in training, coaching, or mentoring is an added advantage
- Strong knowledge of cabinetry techniques, materials, tools, and finishing
- Solid understanding of health and safety standards in workshop environments
- Ability to deliver engaging practical and theoretical training sessions
- Strong communication skills (English & Kiswahili)
- Good planning, organization, and time management skills
- Ability to assess trainee performance and provide constructive feedback
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- High level of professionalism, accountability, and adaptability
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver practical and theoretical cabinetry training aligned to industry standards
- Monitor trainee progress, attendance, and performance
- Provide feedback, mentorship, and career support to trainees
- Ensure workshop safety, cleanliness, and proper use of tools and materials
- Maintain training records and support continuous improvement initiatives
