The Business Development Officer – Retail Business Channel will drive revenue growth through acquisition of new business, intermediary management, and execution of sales and marketing strategies in line with company objectives and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive General Insurance revenue across Retail, SME, Corporate, and Individual segments through direct and intermediary channels.
- Recruit, train, and manage intermediaries to ensure peak performance and target achievement.
- Execute strategic plans for client acquisition, retention, and brand representation.
- Cultivate and maintain high-value relationships with clients, intermediaries, and key stakeholders.
- Oversee policy administration (renewals, endorsements) and ensure strict adherence to KYC and regulatory standards.
- Lead sales activations, marketing initiatives, and professional client engagements.
- Monitor market trends to recommend insurance solutions and provide detailed production/pipeline reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Insurance, Finance, Business, Marketing or a related field.
- 0-3 years of experience in sales, marketing or business development.
- Fresh graduates with relevant internship experience are encouraged to apply.
- Sales and marketing-driven mindset with a strong focus on achieving results.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in MS Office.
