What You’ll Do
- Research, write, and edit blog posts, landing pages, and web copy centered around WordPress and SEO topics
- Create content for tutorials, plugin reviews, how-to guides, and case studies
- Optimize content for search engines using basic on-page SEO practices (headings, internal linking, meta tags, etc.)
- Collaborate with SEO strategists to develop content based on keyword research and performance goals
- Stay updated on WordPress trends, SEO updates, and industry best practices
- Upload and format posts in WordPress (basic block editor knowledge required)
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience writing about WordPress and SEO (please share samples)
- Solid understanding of how WordPress works (plugins, themes, CMS basics)
- Familiarity with basic SEO principles (keyword research, meta descriptions, SEO titles, etc.)
- Ability to break down complex topics into clear, easy-to-understand language
- Strong grammar, editing, and storytelling skills
- Bonus: Experience with tools like Yoast SEO, Rank Math, Surfer SEO, or Mangools
Nice to Have
- Experience writing for digital agencies or web development companies
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS or WordPress page builders (e.g., Elementor, Divi, SeedProd)
- Understanding of content marketing, affiliate marketing, or lead generation
