Water Field Service Technician Job Tatu City

The position involves executing operations and maintenance of water supply and sewerage infrastructure, handling of customer complaints and connections, inspection of ongoing water and sewerage projects and reporting.
- Carrying out applications for customer water and sewer connections.
- Carry out operations and maintenance of water supply infrastructure.
- Implement company’s water supply and sewerage projects.
- Regular monitoring of water supply and sewer networks and preparing inspection reports.
- Investigating customer complaints related to water supply and sewer issues and taking appropriate corrective actions.
- Taking monthly stock taking of water and sewer connection materials and requisition of materials.
- Carrying out inspections of ongoing water and sewerage projects.
- Carrying out monthly water meter readings and reconciling physical and online meter readings.
- Carrying out quarterly physical meter maintenance through servicing and replacing faulty meters.
- Monitoring of tank water levels and taking appropriate action.
- Assist in carrying out Water Treatment plant operations and maintenance.
- Install, maintain and repair water supply equipment’s and distribution infrastructure to ensure continuous supply of safe drinking water.
- Preparing proposals for water supply and sanitation improvement projects.
Requirements
- Diploma in Water Engineering / Wastewater Technology.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in water and sewer operations.
- Experience / certification in operating Butt Fusion-Welding Machines is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with quality, health and safety standards
