Visual Merchandiser Job Furniture Palace

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create appealing and eye-catching visual displays that guide customers through the store
- Assist the Branch Manager and Senior Visual Merchandiser in product positioning within the showroom.
- Maintain displays in line with Furniture Palace merchandising standards.
- Stay up to date with interior design trends and implement new display ideas highlight, product aesthetics and functionality.
- Receive all accessories and furniture deliveries at the showroom and report any damaged stock upon arrival.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to establish strategies and design concepts for product launches and displays.
- Monitor and report fast-moving and slow-moving accessories and furniture to support the Commercial team in analyzing market trends.
- Liaise with the floor technicians to correct damages or malfunctions in displayed products.
- Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Fine Arts or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in visual merchandising preferably in retail industry.
- Knowledgeable in color theory, materials, finishes, lighting, and furniture layout.
- Creativity with a keen eye for aesthetics, detail, and functionality.
- Conversant with current designs and interior decor trends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail.
