The Vehicle Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, servicing, repairing, and maintaining Isuzu vehicles in accordance with manufacturer standards and company procedures. The role requires ensuring high-quality workmanship, timely completion of repairs, and excellent customer service while maintaining safety and operational standards within the workshop.

Vehicle Diagnosis & Repair

  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and technical faults on Isuzu vehicles and other assigned vehicles.
  • Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
  • Perform inspections and identify required repairs or replacement of vehicle components.
  • Conduct engine, transmission, suspension, brake, steering, and electrical system repairs.
  • Ensure all repairs are completed accurately and within agreed timelines.

Workshop Operations

  • Complete job cards, inspection reports, and repair documentation accurately.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and workstations in a clean, organized, and serviceable condition.
  • Ensure proper use and care of workshop equipment and diagnostic tools.
  • Report any equipment defects, safety concerns, or operational issues promptly.

Quality Control & Customer Service

  • Conduct quality checks on completed repairs before vehicle release.
  • Ensure vehicles are returned to customers in a clean and roadworthy condition.
  • Provide technical feedback and recommendations regarding vehicle maintenance requirements.
  • Support customer satisfaction through professional service delivery and workmanship.

Health, Safety & Compliance

  • Comply with all workplace health and safety requirements.
  • Ensure safe handling of tools, equipment, oils, lubricants, and vehicle components.
  • Adhere to company policies, workshop procedures, and manufacturer standards.
  •  Perform any other duties assigned by Management in line with the role.
  • Certificate, Diploma, or Trade Test qualification in Automotive Engineering, Motor Vehicle Mechanics, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repairs, preferably within an authorized dealership or automotive workshop.
  • Experience working with Isuzu vehicles will be an added advantage.
  • Good understanding of vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance procedures.
  • Ability to use diagnostic equipment and workshop tools effectively.
  • Valid Driving License (Class B and above) is mandatory.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
