Job Summary
UX Research Manager (AI & Hardware Focus) At Transsion, we are building innovative mobile experiences for millions of users globally. We are seeking an experienced UX Research Manager to lead strategic research across smartphones, AI-powered features, and hardware innovation at TECNO Mobile.

Key Responsibilities:
- Define and drive UX research strategy across software, AI, and hardware products.
- Lead qualitative & quantitative research (usability testing, interviews, surveys, field studies).
- Develop and execute research strategies to inform products decisions.
- Conduct competitive bench-marking across global competitors (UX, AI capabilities, hardware performance).
- Evaluate AI-driven features, user trust, adoption, and intelligent system usability
- Translate complex data into clear, actionable product recommendations
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Design, Engineering, and AI teams
- Mentor researchers and champion user-centered design across the organization
Requirements:
- A Bachelor of Science in Information technology,Computer Science or Design with HCI/UX focus, Interaction/UX desgn.
- More than 3 years in UX research or human-centered design.
- Experience leading research initiatives or teams.
- Have knowledge of accessibility and inclusive design.
- Strong expertise in qualitative & quantitative methodologies.
- Experience in competitive bench-marking and hardware UX evaluation.
- Exposure to AI-driven product research is highly preferred.
- Background in mobile phone companies, hardware companies, consulting firms, or other reputable organizations is highly desirable.
- Excellent stakeholder communication and strategic thinking skills.
