Harley’s Ltd is looking to fill the position of Team Leader in our Commercial Business Unit with over 8 years of experience in Pharmaceutical Sales. Highly motivated and results-oriented reporting to the Head of Business Unit Commercial.
In this senior leadership role, the incumbent will be responsible for leading Retail Pharmacy sales team, with the aim of optimizing the sales, profitability and market share of Harley’s products in an efficient and effective manner. The Team Leader will provide strategic directions to the sales and marketing team to ensure delivery of business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
- Reporting: Maintain records of sales/expenses/sponsorship/other field activities and submit monthly reports to Head of Business Unit Commercial. Assist in planning of investments in terms of Business Proposals, local activity and keep a track record of same in terms of return by providing reports on a weekly, monthly, or quarterly basis.
- Service Excellence: Develop positive image of the company and maintain healthy business relationships through various communication initiatives with local stakeholders including Doctors, Pharmacies, Distributors and MOH Officials. Guide and coach team members on Service Excellence standards. Ensure that team members are engaged and committed to Service Excellence standards
- Business Strategy: Assist in drawing up the strategy for the Company’s business in the market, right from identification of products, operational capabilities, and business plan. Develop new business opportunities through market development activities. Ensure 100% execution of company’s product marketing strategy, campaigns, customer coverage and customer service strategy in the market.
- Sales : Responsible for all top line and Bottom-Line growth/ profitability of business. Ensure the achievement of agreed sales target product-wise and territory-wise of the country. Make business plan every month targeting doctor, Pharmacy and Institutions. The Team Leader will prepare launch calendar based on new registration received or expected and co-ordinate with Category and Sales team for timely implementation of launch activities.
- Controls & Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to internal controls, tax regulations, SOPs, and audit requirements.
- Stock Control: Ensure sufficient stocks are maintained at all supply chain level. Co-ordinate with Category Teams for timely processing of purchase orders as per lead time.
- Adaptability & General Support Demonstrate initiative, resilience, and a proactive mindset, embracing change and supporting additional finance or accounting responsibilities as may be assigned by management in alignment with evolving business needs.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in science or any other equivalent qualification- A biological science university graduate with a valid PPB license.
- Strong pharmaceutical industry background with solid product and market knowledge.
- Minimum of Eight (8) years in pharmaceutical sales , with proven sales achievements.
- Strong knowledge of retail pharmacy customers and distribution channels.
- Excellent negotiation, communication skills, with the ability to engage vendors and internal stakeholders professionally and resolve issues collaboratively.
- High level of integrity, discretion with financial data, and the ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
