As a specialist recruitment consultant in Finance, I’m partnering with leading organisations across Kenya to identify an exceptional Tax Director. This is a unique opportunity to step into a high-impact executive role, where you’ll drive tax strategy, ensure compliance, and influence financial decision-making at the highest level.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
• Postgraduate qualification (MBA, MSc in Taxation/Finance) preferred.

Certifications & Licenses (highly preferred in Kenya)

• CPA-K or ACCA certification (mandatory).
• Membership with ICPAK (Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya).
• ADIT (Advanced Diploma in International Taxation), CFA, or CIMA are advantageous.

Job Experience & Skills Required:

• Minimum 10 years of progressive tax experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel
• ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Sage)
• Strong understanding of internal controls and financial audits
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Proven track record of leading tax functions within multinational corporations, Big Four firms, or large corporates.
• Experience working across multiple industries and jurisdictions is an advantage.
