Job Purpose
Reporting to the Operations Coordinator, Subcontracting, the job holder will be responsible for ensuring Tai Plus application is up and running efficiently.
Tai Plus is a system whose sole purpose is to link cargo shippers and truckers directly, creating a marketplace so that those who have goods to move can find reliable transporters, ideally at good prices. Key features include real-time visibility of cargo/shipment opportunities, transparency (trucker sees all cargo features, including price before accepting), data analytics to help decision making, and reducing intermediaries in the logistics process.
Responsibilities
- Ensure that all transactions are accurately captured in the Tai Plus System.
- Maintain up-to-date records of all customers and transporters within the system.
- Record and track customer interactions, including inquiries, complaints, feedback, and the corresponding actions taken.
- Oversee the proper onboarding of clients and transporters into the system.
- Train newly onboarded users on effective use of the Tai Plus System.
- Follow up to confirm that customer requests are acted upon appropriately and in a timely manner.
- Monitor system usage and recommend continuous process improvements.
- Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new integrations and system features.
- Execute day-to-day Tai Plus operations and coordination activities.
- Manage operational relationships with clients and promptly escalate any challenges that may arise.
- Prepare and submit accurate, timely reports, and alert management to any significant issues affecting system operations.
Education, Professional Qualifications & Work experience
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology or relevant course
- Relevant professional qualifications/certifications (SAP, SAP BYD, CBAP, Data analytics, PMI certification).
- Minimum KCSE C plain
- At least 3 years of work experience in systems developments and Management.
