Supervisor, Network Management Job
Job Summary
The jobholder shall be responsible for ensuring implementation of day-to-day operations of the LAN infrastructure and IP telephony services and its associated hardware in support to users.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor day-to-day corrective maintenance for LAN & IPT and its associated hardware in support to users.
- Manage activation of data points for both Voice and Data.
- Implement required service improvement programs to facilitate efficient LAN & IPT service delivery.
- Analyze all the required technical expertise for LAN & IPT and its associated hardware.
- Monitor availability, response times, security and repair times for LAN & IPT services in liaison with Service Monitoring and Service Management.
- Manage configuration of switches, network ports and any other duties allocated to support staff in LAN & IPT ensuring adherence to set internal standards.
- Implement mitigation schedule to address all LAN & IPT Incident reviews with the Service Desk team and if necessary other ICT Departments as well as key customers.

Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Electrical / Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications or any other IT related field from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience.
- Membership to a relevant professional body.
