We are recruiting on behalf of a growing solar solutions provider expanding its footprint in the education sector. Our client is seeking experienced Solar Sales Engineers to lead institutional sales to schools and hospitals in Bungoma.

This is a high-impact role suited for solar sales professionals with a proven ability to close deals and engage senior decision-makers such as school boards and procurement committees.

The successful candidates will be responsible for driving solar adoption within schools and hospital institutions, managing the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing.

In addition to personal sales, the role offers an opportunity to build and lead a regional network of assistant sales representatives.

  • Identify and develop solar opportunities within schools and hospital institutions.
  • Present solar solutions to school and hospital leadership, boards, and procurement committees.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing.
  • Prepare proposals and negotiate contracts.
  • Achieve regional sales targets.
  • Recruit and oversee assistant sales representatives to support sales growth.
  • Maintain an active pipeline of institutional clients.
  • Work closely with technical and design teams to ensure successful implementation.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in solar or renewable energy sales.
  • Proven track record of closing solar deals.
  • Experience selling to schools or hospitals is highly preferred.
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to confidently engage senior stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Self-driven with strong territory management ability.
  • Existing regional networks will be an added advantage.
