Responsibilities:

• Manage customer accounts: Oversee and maintain accurate records, monitor invoices and payments, and resolve inquiries.
• Cash flow planning and budgeting: Develop forecasts, create annual budgets aligned with business goals, and provide recommendations for optimizing cash management.
• Prepare financial management reports: Compile comprehensive reports, analyze variances, and present findings to support strategic decision-making.
• Supervise weighbridge staff and procurement: Ensure compliance with operational standards, train staff, and coordinate inventory management.
• Build internal controls: Establish and maintain robust systems, identify areas for improvement, conduct audits, and train staff on compliance protocols to mitigate risks.
• Conduct financial analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with external auditors: Assist in the preparation for audits and provide necessary documentation and explanations.
• Ensure regulatory compliance: Stay updated on financial regulations and ensure the organization adheres to all relevant laws and standards.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 10+ years of experience in accounting
• Proficiency in ERP systems.
• Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Working knowledge of Tax laws and Financial Reporting Standards.
• Strong financial analysis skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills and a strong ability to lead and influence others.
• Excellent understanding of accounting and reporting standards and procedures.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good leadership skills with the ability to direct and supervise
• Preparation of consolidated financial statements
• Proficiency in financial modeling, analysis, and reporting.
