The Managing Executive will lead and grow Regenesys Business School’s operations in South Africa. This strategic leadership role is ideal for a seasoned professional with deep expertise in corporate Learning & Development (L&D), executive education, and the private training sector. The incumbent will be responsible for managing operations, growing key partnerships, driving revenue, and aligning with national skills development goals.

Strategic & Operational Leadership

  • Lead Regenesys’ South African business strategy and execution in alignment with group objectives.
  • Manage day-to-day operations, ensuring excellence in service delivery, client satisfaction, and academic quality.
  • Oversee cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, academics, and operations.

Corporate Learning & Development

  • Design, promote, and implement corporate training and executive development programmes tailored to client needs.
  • Drive innovation in learning solutions (e.g. e-learning, blended learning, leadership academies).
  • Ensure alignment with SETA frameworks and national skills development priorities.

Business Development & Client Engagement

  • Build and manage relationships with key corporate clients, government institutions, and HR/L&D leaders.
  • Identify growth opportunities in both public and private sectors.
  • Lead proposal development, bid submissions, and programme delivery for large-scale learning projects.

Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure compliance with local regulatory and accreditation requirements (e.g., CHE, DHET, QCTO, SETAs).
  • Monitor and improve performance metrics, including learner outcomes, stakeholder feedback, and financial KPIs.

Team Leadership

  • Build, mentor, and manage high-performing teams across business units.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Postgraduate degree in Business, Education, HRD, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 8–12 years of senior leadership experience in corporate training, L&D, or higher education.
  • Proven success in managing commercial teams and education delivery in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of SETA, QCTO, and B-BBEE compliance in training and development.
  • Extensive network of corporate, government, and education stakeholders in South Africa.
