Position Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and self-driven Relationship Officer (Loans) to join our credit and lending team. The successful candidate will be responsible for marketing loan products, client acquisition, credit appraisal, and portfolio management.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate agency sales and support marketing drives to achieve results
- Conduct credit appraisals and recommend viable loan applications.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients through effective communication and follow-up.
- Ensure timely loan repayment and manage arrears proactively.
- Prepare loan documentation and maintain accurate client records.
- Support debt recovery efforts when required.
Minimum Qualifications and Skills
- Diploma in a related field.
- At least 1 year experience in a microfinance or credit institution.
- Strong marketing and customer relationship skills.
- Ability to work under minimal supervision and meet targets.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
