Registered Clinical Officer at Neema Hospital
Medical Jobs, Neema Hospital Jobs. Responsible for providing medical evaluation, treatment and consultation services, responding to emergencies, taking patient histories, conducting examinations, prescribing medications and referrals, educating patients, supervising patient care, and maintaining accurate clinical records. Requires a Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Surgery, registration with the Clinical Officers Council, a valid practising licence. The position is based in Nairobi and requires on-site work.
General Purpose
- Provide general medical services to patients in the hospital; ensure provision of quality and timely medical services and quality patient care
Key Responsibilities
Clinical
- Provide medical evaluation, treatment and consultation services to patients
- Respond to emergencies and answers medical questions.
- Provide medical orders for prescription refills, administration of medications and/or referrals.
- Provide patient education as needed.
- Supervise patient care in the hospital
- Available to patients personally to answer questions and relay information regarding their care.
- Completion of appropriate paperwork to comply with insurance and reimbursement guidelines.
Qualifications
- DIPLOMA IN CLINICAL SURGERY AND MEDICINE
