Regional Sales Manager- North Rift Job Zanifu

Zanifu is a fintech lender providing stock financing and working capital to underserved retailers, distributors and SMEs across Kenya. As we scale our regional footprint, we’re looking for a commercially driven sales leader to own performance across our regional markets.

The Role

You’ll own sales performance and team leadership for Zanifu’s regions outside Nairobi — driving revenue growth in stock financing, building a high-performing field sales team, and reporting directly to senior leadership. This is a hands-on, high-visibility role for someone who can hit the ground running.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the regional sales target and drive aggressive, sustainable growth
• Lead, coach and manage a distributed field sales team
• Build and execute a go-to-market strategy that grows loan book volume and quality
• Recruit and develop sales talent across the region
• Partner with credit & risk teams to protect portfolio quality
• Represent Zanifu as the senior leader on the ground

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ sales experience, including 2+ years leading a team
• Fintech, microfinance or lending experience strongly preferred
• A proven track record of hitting and exceeding revenue targets
• Experience managing a field-based or dispersed sales team
• A bachelor’s degree in business, sales, finance or related field
• Willingness to travel extensively across the region
