  • Prepare project cost estimates, budgets, and feasibility studies. Conduct tender analysis and prepare bills of quantities (BOQs). Evaluate and negotiate contracts with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients.
  • Monitor project costs and advise on cost-saving measures.
  • Prepare interim payment applications and final accounts.
  • Conduct site visits and measurements to track material usage and work done.
  • Manage variations, change orders, and claims.
  • Liaise with architects, engineers, site managers, and clients to align on project progress and cost implications.
  • Prepare cost reports and provide accurate financial forecasting.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and contractual obligations.
  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in quantity surveying in the construction industry.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and quantity surveying software (e.g., CostX, WinQS, ArchiCAD).
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
  • High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Registration with BORAQS or other relevant professional body is an added advantage.
