Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Quantity Surveyor located in Nairobi County, Kenya. The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for cost control and management throughout the construction project lifecycle. Day-to-day tasks include preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQ), cost planning, and cost reporting. The Quantity Surveyor will ensure that project budgets are adhered to, monitor financial progress, and assess the financial impact of design changes and variations.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in cost control and cost management
- Experience in preparing BOQs and cost planning
- Strong skills in cost reporting
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Good communication and negotiation skills
- Bachelor’s degree in QuantitySurveyingP
- Registered Quantity Surveyor
- Entry level
