We are seeking a Project Manager to plan, coordinate, and deliver projects on time, within scope, and within budget, while ensuring high-quality reporting and stakeholder alignment.

Project Planning & Delivery

  • Lead end-to-end project management across research, innovation, and programme delivery
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, workplans, and milestones
  • Coordinate internal teams, consultants, and partners to ensure timely execution
  • Track progress against deliverables and proactively manage risks and dependencies

Budget & Resource Management

  • Work closely with finance to manage project budgets, expenditure tracking, and forecasts
  • Ensure efficient allocation of resources across activities
  • Support donor and funder financial and narrative reporting

Stakeholder & Partner Management

  • Act as the primary coordination point for project partners, funders, and collaborators
  • Organise and lead project meetings, check-ins, and reviews
  • Maintain clear documentation, decision logs, and action trackers

Monitoring, Reporting & Documentation

  • Track KPIs, outputs, and outcomes against project objectives
  • Prepare regular progress reports, donor reports, and internal updates
  • Ensure proper project documentation, data management, and compliance with agreed requirements

Risk, Quality & Compliance

  • Identify risks early and implement mitigation plans
  • Ensure projects meet quality standards, ethical requirements, and contractual obligations
  • Support audits, evaluations, and learning reviews where required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business, Engineering, Social Sciences, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience managing complex projects
  • Proven experience delivering projects involving multiple stakeholders and partners
  • Strong planning, organisation, and execution skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise effectively

Desirable

  • Experience in assistive technology, health, education, research, development, or innovation ecosystems
  • Familiarity with donor-funded or grant-funded projects
  • Project management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile (an advantage)
  • Experience working across multiple countries or regions
