Responsibilities

The successful candidates will:

• Oversee the procurement and warehousing process to ensure smooth operations, proper storage, adherence to FIFO, management of expiries, and maintaining items in excellent condition.
• Authorize and maintain records of all credit notes.
• Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with good distribution practices.
• Maintain all supplier documentation records.
• Together with the storekeeper, verify the quantity and condition of items upon delivery.
• Keep records of purchases, pricing, and other pertinent data.
• Monitor stock levels and place orders as necessary.
• Manage returns of slow-moving, overstocked, or soon-to-expire products.
• Make professional decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Foster and maintain relationships with suppliers.
• Ensure continuous supply of high-quality products and monitor their storage conditions.

Qualifications & Experience

• Must have a Degree in Pharmacy.
• Must have a valid Certificate from Pharmacy and Poisons Board.
• Must have working experience of not less than 1 year in a procurement role.
• Must have working experience of not less than 3 years in the health care industry
