Parts Field Sales Rep – Kitale Job Inchcape

In this position, you will:

  • Maintain relationships with key account customers by providing high-quality, personalized service to ensure long-term loyalty.
  • Execute sales growth strategies on a monthly and quarterly basis, mapping regions according to purchasing capabilities and preparing detailed visit plans.
  • Drive revenue through active selling by upselling parts during customer interactions and participating in company-organized promotions.
  • Manage parts inventory and efficiency by using catalogs for accurate information and utilizing inventory allowances to minimize idle or obsolete stock.
  • Coordinate cross-departmentally with Service, Sales, and the Body Shop to ensure all parts requests are met promptly.
  • Support technical operations by assisting Service Technicians in determining parts requirements and providing them with necessary items with minimal wait time.
  • Handle customer inquiries and orders by answering questions, following up on sales, and informing customers when special order parts arrive.
  • Monitor market trends by keeping up to date with New Holland and competitor products and rates to remain competitive.
  • Ensure administrative accuracy by maintaining a proper filing system for repair orders, special orders, and back orders.
  • Promote process improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance methods within the Parts Department.

To be successful in this role you would need:

  • Experience: 2 years in agricultural machinery parts sales with a proven track record of sales performance.
  • Education: A minimum of a degree in a business-related field; additional training in customer service is an advantage.
  • Strategic Mindset: Ability to map regions according to purchasing capabilities and execute sales growth strategies.
  • Organizational Skills: High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines while working autonomously.
  • Technical Proficiency: Computer literacy and the ability to utilize parts catalogs/resources effectively.
  • Mobility: A valid driving license is required for field-based travel.
