Client Engagement & Market Development

  • Serve as a frontline ambassador for PFSCM’s Global Access Hub, proactively engaging Ministries of Health, NPHLs, disease programs, private diagnostic networks, NGOs, and academic institutions.
  • Conduct introductory meetings, country briefings, technical consultations, and Access Hub orientation sessions (virtual and in-person).
  • Represent PFSCM at conferences, regional laboratory forums, professional societies, and partner events to build visibility and strengthen networks.
  • Identify country and market opportunities, assess demand, and document client requirements to inform product offerings and sourcing strategies.
  • Build and/or maintain client account plans to define their needs and tailor service offerings.

Supplier Alignment & Technical Coordination

  • Work closely with the Sourcing team (category management teams) to ensure alignment of category strategies for engagement and support supplier engagement, ensuring up-to-date knowledge of available products, pricing, access programs, and supplier innovations.
  • Collaborate with the Product Technical Team to ensure product selection and service offerings align with client technical needs, national guidelines, and operational realities.
  • Support development of client-specific procurement package proposals, technical assistance scopes.

Client Stewardship and Onboarding

  • Lead onboarding and transition of new Global Access Hub clients to the Client Account Management (CAM) team, ensuring clear communication of client needs and service requirements, and contracting/payment terms.

Financial Coordination

  • Liaise closely with PFSCM Finance to support the use and oversight of the financing mechanisms that enable clients to initiate procurement.
  • Support the development of SOPs, and monitoring dashboards, and analytical summaries related to performance.

Cross-functional Support for New Initiatives

  • Participate in internal working groups focused on new business lines, private-sector engagement, and country-level pilots.
  • Working closely with the Business Development Director contributes to business planning, market landscaping, partner mapping, and development of client-facing materials.
  • Provide input into proposals, concept notes, and presentations related to the new initiative, such as the Global Access Hub’s strategic growth.

Professional and Technical Knowledge

  • BA or BSc in logistics, supply chain management, public health, development studies, laboratory sciences required; or
  • Master’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, public health, international affairs/development or health sciences, MBA, or other relevant field preferred
  • 8–10 years’ experience in public health markets, diagnostics, or supply chain program management in LMIC settings.
  • Strong track record engaging Ministries of Health, national laboratories, implementing partners, and senior decision-makers across Africa.
  • Demonstrated experience working with donors and global health actors (Global Fund, US Government, European Commission, Gates Foundation, WHO, CHAI, ASLM, Africa CDC, CDC, MSF, etc.).
  • Direct experience with diagnostic tools, medical laboratory products, or device procurement preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage complex, multi-workstream projects under tight timelines and with multiple stakeholders.
  • Proven success in supporting or launching new programs, business lines, or start-up initiatives, including business case development, market landscaping, and strategic planning.
