Position Summary
You are responsible for supporting the sales function of the business, including liaising with customers and entering orders into our system ready for project handover.
Client Overview
A growing construction company specializing in door solutions for commercial and residential buildings. They collaborate with architectural firms and contractors to deliver comprehensive door systems — from initial estimation through final installation. The company’s structure includes project consultants managing client relationships while being supported by a skilled internal estimation and operations team.
Reports To: Sales Team Leader
Key Accountabilities
- Orders entered within 1 day of receiving order
- Orders entered correctly
Responsibilities
- Enter orders from pre hangers and merchants into the system
- Liaise with pre hangers/merchants to gather additional information where required
- Enter project orders accurately into the system
- Send thank-you emails for all project orders placed
- Collect and record all required project data in the system
- Complete project books for all project orders
- Close “won” sales in the CRM
- Prepare all necessary documentation for project consultants and estimators to complete handovers
- Ensure all documentation and data entry meet company accuracy standards
- Follow up with internal and external teams to resolve order-related issues promptly
Requirements
Academic / Technical Qualifications
- Basic arithmetic and English proficiency
- Understanding of basic finance principles
- Experience in the construction industry (preferred)
- Experience in telemarketing or customer contact roles (advantageous)
- Familiarity with CRM systems and order management processes
