Role Overview

The Operations Manager will also serve as Acting Executive Director, providing overall operational, financial, HR, and strategic leadership. This is a senior, hands-on role suited to a confident leader ready to scale a mission-driven organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive business development, partnerships, and organizational growth, growing local incomes, including from corporate partnerships.
• Lead all operational, administrative, financial, and HR functions across the organization
• Oversee financial management, budgets, compliance, and donor reporting
• Supervise staff, volunteers, and consultants, ensuring a high-performance culture
• Represent the organization externally in partnerships, convenings, and forums
• Act as Acting ED in the Founder’s absence, making strategic and operational decisions

Qualifications & Experience

• CPAK qualification (mandatory)
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field
• 5–7 years’ experience in operations, finance, or management
• Proven ability to lead teams, build systems, and manage complex operations
• Experience in NGOs, social enterprises, or advisory firms is an advantage
