Operations Lead – Real Estate Division Job

Job Purpose

The Operations Lead – Real Estate Division will provide a strategic lead and oversight role across the company’s financial inflows, administrative, and operational functions in the real estate division. This role will ensure efficient financial management, robust cash flow and credit control, statutory compliance, and operational excellence in driving sustainable growth within the real estate and property management division.

Financial Management

  • Oversee all financial inflows, ensuring accurate recording, reconciliation, and timely reporting.
  • Implement effective cash flow planning and forecasting to support operational and investment needs.
  • Ensure timely collection of receivables and manage credit control processes to minimize bad debt.
  • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial performance reports for decision-making.

Operational Oversight

  • Lead the execution of operational strategies to enhance efficiency in property management services.
  • Streamline processes to improve tenant onboarding, lease management, rent collection, and service delivery.
  • Monitor performance of outsourced service providers and contractors to ensure compliance with SLAs.
  • Oversee facilities management and maintenance planning for all managed properties.

Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure full compliance with statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements.
  • Implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and prevent financial irregularities.
  • Coordinate external and internal audits, ensuring timely resolution of audit findings.
  • Mitigate operational risks by enforcing proper documentation and reporting standards.

Leadership & Strategic Support

  • Lead and mentor finance and operations teams to achieve high performance.
  • Collaborate with senior management in developing and executing strategic business plans.
  • Provide operational insights to guide investment, expansion, and portfolio management decisions.
  • Drive innovation and adoption of technology to improve operational efficiency.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
  • CPA-K qualification is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ proven experience in operations and financial management within a real estate and property management company.
  • Strong understanding of real estate financial modeling, lease management, and property operations.
  • Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in accounting and property management systems.
