Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver Music lessons in line with the curriculum.
• Develop learners’ vocal, instrumental, and theoretical music skills.
• Prepare schemes of work, lesson plans, and assessment records.
• Train and lead school choir, band, and music clubs.
• Prepare learners for performances, competitions, and examinations.
• Assess, evaluate, and report on learners’ musical progress.
• Organize concerts, assemblies, and musical events.
• Maintain and manage musical instruments and equipment.
• Uphold school policies and professional ethics.

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Education with specialization in Music or related fields.
• Valid TSC registration (where applicable).
• Minimum of two (2) years’ teaching experience.
• Ability to play one or more musical instruments is an added advantage.
• Strong vocal and performance skills.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Passion for music education.
